The Mutanchi Rongkup today reached another milestone with 150 days of satyagraha and still continuing with the struggle to save Dzongu, their Mayalyang ( the holy land ) from a series of mega dams that threaten the environment, landscape and civilization.
On the eve of this historic moment, the members of ACT (Affected Citizens of Teesta), SOD (Sangha of Dzongu) and the enthusiastic youth of CLOS (Concerned Lepchas of Sikkim) lit candles and sang patroitic songs.....
